As many people know, as of 12/31/2020, browsers have dropped support for Flash. Although the site may continue to work for you for a bit of time, once your system has updated, the Flash content will no longer work. With these changes, this site is no longer be supported. I have been busy for quite some time creating a replacement for BarryFunEnglish that has been completely re-written from the ground up. You are encouraged to switch over to this new site and start using it at your convenience. I was hoping to have all content converted by the end of this year, but I'm not quite there and will be continuing to add updated content in the coming months. I am expecting to have the site 100% completed by February or March. From that point I hope that I can finally start to add some new content and features. Hopefully, the new site is the foundation that will keep the site alive for many years to come.
Some things to be aware of on the new site:
Barrys Bingo offers a great bingo set that you can take home. Slide into a space on the street or park your vehicle in the adjacent lot. The original high intensity interval workout. Barry's tones muscle and maximizes fat loss with a combination of running and weights.
- You can login with your BarryFunEnglish credentials, and your custom lists and subscription will automatically be transferred.
- The migration only happens one time. If you login to the new site and make a change to your lists or subscription on this site it will not be reflected on the new site. Because of this I recommed sticking with the new site once you have logged into it.
- With all the code changes it will take some time to work through any bugs. If you have an issue, please let me know and I will jump on a fix ASAP.
- I've gone through a couple major UI updates over the years and with each update there are people who get upset with the changes because they are not used to them. For the most part I have kept the UI as similar as I could to the current site. Most changes were based on considerations for mobile devices. If you hate the changes, maybe give it some time and you will start to like them :)

Finally, I wanted to thank everyone who has supported the site for so long. I started creating these activities to use with my own teaching back when I worked as an ESL teacher in Korea between 2004-2008. I haven't taught in over 10 years, but have continued to work on this site as a hobby. I never expected it to be around for this long. There are still many users who have been using it from the beginning and I really appreciate the support.

It’s fair to say Aston Villa haven’t looked back since avoiding relegation by the skin of their teeth last season.
The Villans had a very productive summer transfer window, signing the likes of Emi Martinez, Ollie Watkins, Ross Barkley and Matty Cash.
Dean Smith’s men have gone from strength to strength this season and are well in the mix to finish in a European spot this season as they’re currently a point behind sixth-placed Tottenham.
Villa’s success has surprised former hero Gareth Barry, who heaped huge praise on Smith and the board for the team’s rapid improvement.
Barry told talkSPORT.com: “The turnaround has been phenomenal, hasn’t it?
“Dean Smith deserves huge credit for identifying the areas and the players needed to be able to do that, he’s been backed by the board and the players are producing for him. I am surprised, they’ve been great to watch.”
The future looks bright for Villa too as we saw during their FA Cup tie against Liverpool last month.
Villa were forced to field their young players due to a COVID outbreak in the first-team and although they lost the tie 4-1, the kids were a huge credit to the club.
Louie Barry was the standout performer for Villa as his goal levelled the tie which led to the Premier League champions throwing on more senior players to avoid being on the wrong end of a mammoth upset.
The 17-year-old was likened to Jamie Vardy by Jurgen Klopp after the match and there are high hopes for Barry, who had a spell at Barcelona before signing for boyhood club Villa in January 2020.

Barry hasn’t been a part of the first team squad since, something that disappoints his Villa namesake.
But the elder Barry handed some advice to the young striker as he looks to make his way in the men’s game.
The ex-England international added: “The whole feeling at the club, from the youth teams to the first-teams is very positive really. They’re in a great place.
“I’ve watched Louie Barry play for England at youth level, he’s got huge potential.
“My advice to him would be to be patient. I’m sure he scored that goal thinking ‘this is my moment to be in the next squad for the first team’.
“I was sort of looking for him to be involved because I sometimes think Villa need different options off the bench but unfortunately he’s not made it.

“So patience is going to be the key. Whether he’s playing for the under-23s or the under-18s, keep giving those 100 per cent performances. The chances don’t always come that quickly so patience for him is going to be the key.
